Thanks for your writings and advice. I’ve dreamed of van living, but have a husband who wouldn’t consider it. I just wanted to let you know that the link you provided to your guide is not working — at least for me. When I click on it, it takes me to a “page not found”. Just thought you might like to check on your end. Best of luck! And, thanks again. 🙏🏽

Thank you Odilia for sharing that information to me. I will check it out now. Van life is very rewarding, I think.

I’m enjoying reading your column. I wouldn’t want to have to live in a van. I would be afraid a lot. What do you do when you have trouble with the car?

Tawanah, I call AAA. That's a service that comes to you and help you with dead battery or flat tire and will tow your vehicle to a garage of your choosing.

That is a great service and I have seen people use it for when they lock their keys in the vehicle. Good for you. Do single women ever have a buddy who travels with them? Like in the same vehicle or in tandem?

Yes they do.

There are camping groups of women. Have you explored that?

I have checked out the caravans. It's a good thing. You're not obligated and can leave at any time

I lived in my car on & off over a 10 year period out of injustice in our system. Primarily legal. It was insane for some to think i did it for “fun”, but they did!

I’ll bet men don’t have to think that way Carol. I have to watch my back every minute of every day because sometimes an attack can happen in the places we thought were safe.

Morning Carol, this is Dusty. Please get in touch with RVINGWOMEN. You will sleep better.

It is still rather chilly up here. 30 ish. Well take care.
