So sorry you have to live in your van. Is it possible you could rent a room somewhere with a nice family?

Praying this for you. 🙏🙏

Don't live in my van. If I had one I would. Rent for a room only is almost $1000/month

Are you renting a room? I would suggest getting a used mini-van and set it up as a camper. Lots of people do this and you can save money. $1,000 a month for a room is outrageous I think. But given the situation and the political climate we’re in, that $1,000 may turn into $1500 a month for a room really soon. Thump and his administration don’t care about the working class and their struggles. My grandfathers who served in the Cival War, WW 1, WW11, my uncles, brother and friends who served in Vietnam War would all roll over in their grave if they could see what is happening today.!!

Thanks for sharing all this. No not afraid to strike out on my own. I have no money to buy a van of any kind. Yes my studio apt is 1200/ month so tempting to find a room to rent which will be a "little" cheaper if can afford deposit etc.

Kathleen if you’re afraid to strike out on your own, you could always join an all female nomad group.

Not afraid at all. No money available for me to strike out. Thanks

HI Jim,

Please don’t feel sorry for me. I’m living my dream life. I like living in a van and discovering new territory while I manage my Substack and share some of my adventures with others who are evicted or forced out of their apartments or whereever they live.

My purpose is to write my novel while meeting new people on the road and helping someone who needs or wants to accept my help.

Thanks for reaching out.
