I've living and traveling the Sonoran desert for the past 6 months. I haven't seen any rain at all. Soon I'm going to travel back to Louisiana and I'm getting so excited to see the thunderstorms. The next 10 day weather forecast is predicting heavy stormy weather. I'm getting excited.
It reminds me of rain on a metal roof after a long, long drought you can feel the plants inhale deeply and exhale, their green vibrant life.
